Weekend Update

BC had a very successful Pickering Pony Show!

Our day started out with Bobby and Shiree earning a champion ribbon in the Adult Equitation. It may have been their quickest show ever since we were back to the barn by 9:30 for the next load!

 Grace & Tucker had a fantastic show and brought home a champion and a reserve champion ribbon!  Tucker was quite excited to be at a horse show!  Thank goodness Grace kept those heels way down!!

Cawood had a blast with Emma at their first horse show together and won a reserve champion!  Cawood rode great and Emma was a very good little hunter pony!

 Sam showed Wendel in the 2'6 for the first time and they certainly held their own earning reds and yellows out of a bunch in the pony hunter division!  Congrats on a great ride Sam!  Children's hunter pony here we come!

Gabby & Johnny won so many blue ribbons and so many trophies, I think we all lost count... well maybe not Gabby!  And Gabby rode Wendy Silverwood's horse Buddy and did a fabulous job.  Thanks for the fun Wendy & Buddy!

 

Thanks for the fun day BC Team!  Let's do it again next weekend at the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show!  We are looking forward to a super fun show at Ludwigs this coming weekend.  Don't forget about the "Sunday at Sunset" party at Ludwigs on the 2nd from 5:30 - 7:30!  The link to the form for tickets is on our facebook page!  See you all at Ludwig's!

 

Another Good Horse Show Weekend

AUGUST HORSE SHOWS!

Here is our crew at the Pickering Hunt Club schooling horse show at Ludwig's Corner this past Saturday August 11th.  

Sam & Wendel, Kayla & Ben, Jacqui & Emma, Annie & Snoopy, Denise, and Liz & Norm

All of our ponies were super good and our riders were awesome!  Sam and Wendel picked up a few blues!  Kayla and Jacqui had a blast and got good ribbons in their jumper classes!!  Annie and Liz also won good ribbons in their hunter and equitation classes.  Norm was a star on his first excursion in a LONG time off the property!  Way to go Team BC!

There are lots of horse shows this month so get ready!

Saturday, August 25th - Pickering Pony Horse Show at Ludwig's Corner

The end of August starts Quentin Fall and beginning of September is the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show!

CLINICS, VACATIONS, AND CAMP... OH MY!

Well hello there everybody!  It's been a while!  We have had a busy summer with clinics, vacations, horse shows, and camp.  It's time to reflect on what we've done and look ahead to what we have in store for the rest of the summer. 

• Just this past weekend Jen Miller came to town for a two day clinic.  Jen was FABULOUS!  Everyone absolutely loved her and had a blast.  She had a great time too and said we have the best customers and horses!  Yay!!  We look forward to having Jen come back up to visit soon!
• Our two weeks of pony camp were fantastic.  Becca is the absolute QUEEN of CAMP and did a fabulous job putting it all together so that everyone had a very fun and memorable time at camp.  Our lesson horses are the best around!!
• Above is a picture of Gabby and Johnny at the Local Day horse show at Devon earlier this month (taken by The Mane Image Photography).  Congrats to everyone on a fun show.  Special thank you to Joelle for being there ALL day to take care of everyone while Denise and Casey were away on vacation! 

What's coming up?

• Hopefully Denise will decide to come home from Rhode Island soon!  ha ha!
• We leave on Monday for HITS!  Fun!
• Wednesday August 1st is a horse show at Wyndsor Farm... we hope everyone can attend!

We all had a great time at Devon this weekend! Congratulations Kaley & Christopher on a super fun Devon! You two are a beautiful team!

SWEET BABY AVERY

Kristin and Mike Bracken welcomed Avery Marie into the world on May 14th! Everyone is doing great! Avery is a super sweet baby girl and Kristin and Mike are just smitten with the new love of their lives! We wish them all the best and can't wait to see Avery riding ponies! Congratulations!

Devon Family Class!

We wish the Riddle Family best of luck and best of times tonight in the Family Clas at Devon!!  We know there will be lots of laughter and lots of smiles!  We love you!
