Here are some pictures from a few recent horse shows! Way to go Team BC on some fun horse shows with lots of ribbons and smiles! Let's get ready for some more fun at Ludwig's this weekend! We wish you all a wonderful weekend.

What a weekend!!

Denise took riders to two different horseshows last weekend and had two very successful days!

On Saturday Annie and Anya shared the wonderful "Rosie"at Ludwigs Corner and both girls were champion in their divisions--congratulations girls and lots of kisses and carrots to Rosie!

Sunday at North Ridge Farms was a beautiful day and everyone had fun at a new show to Banbury Cross. The facility was beautiful!

Lynda and Barre came out after a long streak of not showing and were Reserve Champions!!

Krissy and Chateau did the hunter derby and were 4th and had a lot of fun!!

Grace and Lilly, Lynn and Lola, and Kate and Jack also competed and got good ribbons in their divisions. Congrats to all!!!

Every one had a blast this past weekend at the Jen Miller Clinic!  Thank you Jen for coming up to play with us again.  We look forward to your next visit!

A SUPER HORSE SHOW WEEK!

Our girls were super at Swan Lake!  Susan & Rose won their first blue ribbon at their first show together!  Hooray for this new team.  Lynn & Lola were cute as ever as they marched around at Swan Lake on Thursday!  Congrats ladies!

Sandi & Chateau had their best show yet!

Shiree & Bobby had a fantastic show!

There were plenty of other blues and ribbons won by the rest of our team: Anya & Annie were both adorable on Miss Rosie who was a perfect little pony!  Susan & Rose showed again and were wonderful.  Grace & Lilly continue to win hearts with their smiles and great performances. 
Thank you Denise for making all of these smiles possible.  Congratulations to everyone who showed and thank you to all those who helped make it happen. Go team BC!

Kimberton Hunt Club Horse Show

Congratulations to all of our riders at the Kimberton Hunt Club Horse Show this past Sunday.  It was another LONG horse show day but the BC Team made it a wonderful day. 
Grace & Lilly were champion their first time out together!  This is a beautiful new pair and we CONGRATULATE Grace on the purchase of the sweet Miss Lilly!  We are thrilled you found each other!
Shiree & Bobby and Halaine & Guy were also Champions!  Congratulations to you both.
Sandi had a fantastic time piloting Chateau around the Adult ring and was all smiles.  Thanks for all your help Sandi!
Katelyn rode great despite Smitty not being in his best mood!  We love you anyway Smitty!
Thank you to Denise for spending the long day with everyone.  At least she got some "Grammy" time with baby Mac!

CLASSIC OAKS AT WYNDSOR FARM

It was a late night on Sunday for our Adult ladies showing at Wyndsor Farm.  Despite showing in the late evening hours, our horses and riders were stellar and had a blast!  There were tricolors and top ribbons won by all!  Pictured above are Sandi & Chateau, Shiree & Bobby McGee, Halaine & Guy, and Lynn & Lola with their fearless leaders Kristin and Denise.  Congrats ladies on a successful horse show!

Spring Has Sprung!!

Hello BC Friends!

We had a beautiful week of spring!!  Warm weather = happy horses and riders!  Yay!
Let's gear up for a fun spring of horse shows, clinics and trail rides!

Jen Miller is coming back to do a Spring Clinic!!  In addition to the regular clinic format she is also offering private lessons and training rides on Friday.  Email us for more information and to sign up.  

Fun day at the show!!

Last Sunday we started out the day with Lauren and Sundance making a stellar performance in the short stirrup. Lauren came away with some great ribbons and certainly gets the cuteness award!















Grace and Tucker were both "on it" and were reserve champion in the Novice Equitation. These two are such a fun team to watch!















Rose, Daquiri, and Norman went to school and all three were very good and had a nice, positive, off the property experience.

Burdock made his debut in the Pleasure Horse U/S and got two red ribbons with Kristin. He was a very good boy.

Smitty did the adults with Katelyn, who we are thrilled, is now leasing him. They ended up champion! They are going to be the team to beat.

Krissy showed Chateau after only one ride on him and won the medal and a class in the adults. Well done!

We are very proud of all of our horses and their riders and we look forward to lots of fun shows this spring and summer.

Hey Boy

Words cannot express the sadness the Banbury Cross Family feels about the loss of Hey Boy. Hey Boy was the little horse that could.  His heart was bigger than most any horse out there and his love was seen in the way performed.  His "smile" will be remembered by all who knew him and loved him.  Thank you for reminding us how love can transform a horse into the amazing creature you became Hey Boy.  Run in green pastures forever and please watch over your friends you left behind.  Thank you for enriching our lives Hey Boy.  We love you.
